We’re continuing to improve the FOREVER mobile experience on Android v6.1.4 and the FireTV and Google TV apps (v2.1.1).

• Connections on FireTV & Google TV: You can now view your Connections and browse Albums shared through those Connections directly within the FOREVER FireTV and Google TV apps. Enjoy an even more connected viewing experience on the big screen and easily relive shared memories with family and friends from the comfort of your living room.

🐞 Bug Fixes and Improvements

• On This Day Sorting Fix: Fixed an issue that could prevent memories from appearing in On This Day when certain sorting preferences were applied.
• Consistent Zoom Preferences Across the App: Your zoom preference is now remembered as you move between Gallery, Albums, Tags, People, and other list views, creating a more consistent browsing experience throughout the app.

HEIC and HEIF Support
We’re pleased to announce expanded support for HEIC and HEIF image files across the FOREVER platform. These modern file formats are now integrated into the latest versions of our applications to make working with photos from Apple and other modern devices easier than ever.

• Both iOS and Android apps now support uploading HEIC and HEIF files directly to your FOREVER Storage Account.

• Custom Sort in Albums: You can now custom sort your files within an Album right from the iOS app, making it easier to organize your memories!

  • Exact Date & Time: As you always could within FOREVER, you can assign an exact date and time to a memory, down to the minute and second. This is ideal for memories where the precise moment of capture is important.
  • Day, Month & Year: If you're unsure of the exact day but know the month and year, you can now set the date to a specific day, month, and year. This allows for more flexibility when dealing with memories created within a general timeframe.
  • Quarter and Year: For memories created during a broader timeframe, you can specify a quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) and the year. This is perfect for memories created during a specific quarter of a year without a precise day or month.
  • Year: When only the year is known, you can set the date to reflect just the year. This is useful for archival memories where the exact date is lost but the year is still known.
  • Decade and Century: For older memories or when precise dating isn't possible, you can set the date to a decade or century. This feature is ideal for historical collections where a more generalized timeframe is needed.
