🌟 New Features...

 Nested Albums & Album Description Previews are finally here! 🥳

• Nested Albums: You can now easily organize and navigate your collections with nested albums right from your Album detail view! The section is expanded by default for easy access, but can be collapsed for a cleaner view. Your collapsed settings will be saved across Albums, Visited Albums, and Shared Albums for a consistent experience.

• Album Descriptions: Album Description previews are now viewable directly within the Album Details header.

✨ Improvements...

• Visual Enhancements 🤩

  • Album Navigation Panel: The layout of the album navigation panel has been refreshed to highlight the current album and its nested albums, making it easier for you to navigate through the album list with greater efficiency.

  • Content Header Update: When scrolling within detail views, the larger more informative header collapses into a condensed view to allow for more space to view your memories.

  • Lightbox Labels: Section labels in the Lightbox are now lighter against the dark background, enhancing the readability.

  • Bio Preview in People: The bio preview for a person is now displayed in the person’s detail header.

  • Face Selection Highlight: When you hover over a face in a Lightbox photo, the corresponding person is now highlighted in the info panel for quicker identification.

• Functional Enhancements 🔧

  • Optimized Mobile Experience: When using the web app on your phone, contextual actions for most views are now consolidated into a single menu. This change frees up more screen space, allowing you to focus on and enjoy your content without distractions.

  • Bulk Management for Nested Albums: Easily manage your nested albums with the restored multi-select feature, allowing you to select and take action on multiple nested albums at once for faster, more efficient organization.

  • File Size Info: Right-clicking on a file allows you to see the file size.

  • Sorting by File Size: You can now sort by file size in the filter panel for easier organization.

  • Bulk Organizer: You can now ‘Choose Album’ in the Bulk Organizer to help find nested Albums.

🐞 Bug Fixes...

• Album Navigation Fix: Resolved the issue where the "See All Files" link would disappear when accessing an album through the file upload notification.

• Slideshow Rotation: Fixed a bug where image rotations were not presenting correctly during slideshow.

• File Search Result Grouping: Fixed an issue where search results were grouped by date when they should not have been.

• File Selection Persistence: We've resolved an issue where file selections were not retained after downloads. File selection behavior now matches the previous app experience, ensuring a smoother workflow.

• Improved Date Handling: Resolved issues with datepickers when editing album dates and people’s birth and death dates. These fixes ensure accurate date management.

• Addition of People in Create and Print: You can now add a Collection of People to Your Autobooks in Create and Print for easier personalization of your projects.

• Resizing Autobooks: Fixed an issue where resizing an Autobook would unexpectedly return the client to the initial creation state.

• Project List Loading Issue: Fixed a bug that prevented the project list from loading correctly, ensuring all projects display properly now.
• Paging in the Delete Bin: fixed an issue where the Delete Bin is not showing all of the files.
• Slideshow on iOS: Fixed issue with the slideshow in Safari on iOS mobile.

• Share Link Copying on Mobile: Fixed issues with copying share links from the share modal on mobile devices.
• Backend Request Prevention: Prevents users from sending multiple backend requests during album navigation and file selection interactions.
• Sign-In Redirect Functionality: Implemented functionality to ensure that all unauthenticated users interacting with the system are tracked appropriately.
• Date Picker Fix: Resolved an issue with the date picker which was causing dates to show one day off in certain circumstances.

  • Updated Photo Prints Button: The photo prints button now features a more appropriate icon and text that changes with a notification dot to draw attention when there’s an in-progress order.
  • Mobile Pass on User Profile: Improved the user profile header view for better mobile usability.

• iOS Overflow Bug: Resolved overflow issues in connection list items on iOS devices.
• Notification Display: Fixed display issues with new notification messages in mobile profile navigation.
• Document Labels: Corrected the appearance of the document “Created” label in the lightbox view.
• Video Playback Bug: Resolved playback issues for the new help videos under certain circumstances.
• Artisan Upload Source: Artisan page prints now correctly display as “Artisan” in the lightbox.
• Photo Rotation Bug: Fixed an issue where rotated photos would revert to their original orientation when details were updated in the Lightbox.
• Info Panel Transition: Resolved a bug with the info panel transition on mobile.
• Filter Side Panel Transition: Fixed the transition issue on the filters side panel.

• Resolved a bug that prevented shared projects to be added to cart.

✨ Improvements...

• Temporary Copy: Allow users to right-click on images in the Lightbox to copy.
• Screen Size Experience: Made many refinements for a better desktop experience on smaller screens - including improved spacing, a narrower right sidebar, responsive list views and a responsive navigation bar that adjusts to fit your screen.

🐞 Bug Fixes...

• Unauthenticated people can now download Albums and Tags, as well as individual files in the lightbox (excluding selections).
• Resolved an issue with the file list not loading all files on larger screens.
• Fixed a bug preventing clients from exiting the lightbox when viewing a shared container.
• Fixed a bug that refreshed collaborative albums after uploads.
• Fixed a bug that caused an error when managing accounts for some clients.

✨ Improvements...

• Collaborative Album Adding Files Prompt: Updated the “Sign Up & Add Files” button in the collaborative Album to “Login & Add Files” in order to reduce confusion around the sign-up process.
• Collaborative Album De-dupe: Removed the deduplication toggle from the collaborative album uploader in collaboration mode, as it is not supported.

• Fix for Alternate Names not appearing within a Persons Additional Details.
• Resolved an issue where users with their default landing page set to Library, which was later changed to Gallery, were experiencing navigation problems when viewing files in Lightbox.

• Fix for Legacy Settings link under My Account being broken.
• Fix for Edit Custom Order link not showing when Custom Order is selected within the Sort.
• Fix for video embed code not working.

✨ Improvements...

• Restored Multi-Select for Edit Custom Order: Within an album, clients can now multi-select files and move them into a custom order.

🐞 Bug Fixes...

• Addressed the intermittent issue when clients receive a “Something went wrong” error in their Album navigation panel.
• Removed the non-functional date picker ‘close’ button due to an underlying bug.

✨ Improvements...

• Update to File Counts: To optimize Facial Recognition and reduce database calls, file counts will now only show exact numbers for counts under 50 and '50+' for counts of 50 or more in filters and main file lists.
• Improved Zoom Functionality: We added a safety feature to prevent errors when zooming in the lightbox, making sure everything works smoothly.
• File Check for Details: We implemented a new check to ensure we have the right details before starting a process in the lightbox, enhancing reliability.
• Added a Loading State to Filters: When a client selects a filter option, we are disabling the ability to select other filter options until the filter option chosen is completed. This will ensure that clients always get the expected results.

• Fixed issue with slideshow which was causing the slideshow to restart after 100 photos.

✨ Improvements...

• Enhanced the Date Picker: Within in the Lightbox the date picker includes Save and Cancel buttons.
• Updated Language: Around removing files from an unnamed person previously said "this container" now says "this person" based on client feedback.
• Filter Panel Background: Updated the filter button on the filters panel to have a background so there is not overlap when scrolling on a smaller screen.
• Banner Timeout: Updated the system to avoid timeouts that were causing some clients to lose their Facial Recognition processing banner.
