Take your organization strategy to the next level by using Filter options within your Albums or Tags! These filters even stay in place as you navigate away to other areas of your account, and allows you to share a specific filtering so others can experience your memories in the way you want them to.
- Favorites lets you checkmark this option so it only shows the memories you have selected as "favorites". Without this filtering, you can still find your favorites by looking for the white heart in the lower right corner of the thumbnail images.
-
Sort By lets you choose the order in how your memories show up in the Gallery. You can choose Date Taken (when the memory says it was captured), Upload Date (when you decided to upload or copy it to your Storage), or by the file Name (alpha-numeric). In your Albums you also have the ability to Custom sort your memories for a curated viewing experience!
NOTE: If you are utilizing Fuzzy Dates then when you filter by Date Taken you may see them listed under a specific date rather than their assigned generic option. You can read more on this type of filtered sorting here. - Media Type is additive, meaning if you select Video and Audio it will show both types of media in your Gallery. When none of the options are selected, it means every media type will show.
- Date Taken or Date Uploaded lets you choose a date range to see your photos that were captured or uploaded during a specific timeframe. This can be a specific day, a month and year, quarter and year, an entire year, decade, or century!
- People lets you choose a currently identified person as a way to sort memories containing that person. If you choose two or more People, it will filter to show memories that both People are in. Please note that there may be more People in the memories shown, but they will at least match to all the People selected.
- Tags will show you files that have the selected Tags associated with them. There may be more Tags on the individual files, but everything shown will at least have all the Tags you've selected.
- Albums will only show memories contained in all of the selected Albums or Nested Albums. This is great way to see if you have files in multiple Albums for accurate memory-keeping!
You also have the ability to filter your Gallery, which offers even more precision organization!
