Not sure if you're on the most current version of Artisan® 6? You can read this article to check. If you do need to update, you can then follow these steps:
1. Open the Artisan® 6 program.
2. At the bottom left, you will see the message 'A software update is available! Click for details'. Please select Click for details.
If you're running into issues trying to click this option, you can manually update the software by going to www.forever.com/downloads and clicking the button to 'Download Artisan 6'. Then with the program closed install the downloaded file - this is a full version of Artisan 6, but it will only install the updated/missing components to your existing software installation to get you to the current version!
3. Click on Download.
4. On this window, you will see the progress of your update.
5. After the update is done downloading you will now have the option to click on Install.
6. Please follow the prompts through the installation wizard. You will now notice the wizard will now automatically close your software program for you - don't worry, if you have a project open it will prompt you to save the project first before closing.
7. Once you open the software program, you will now see the version number along with the message 'Software is up to date'.
