How to get the Artisan Content Panel back on the right side of the software program?

If your software opens with Pages, Photos, and Content on the left side, follow these steps to resolve the issue and move them back to the right side of your project workspace.

🛑Before you begin

Make sure Artisan is the most current version, or the process may not work. You can check your version number here: 🔗Current Version of Artisan

💻Steps to Resolve the Layout Issue

1. Ensure Artisan is closed

   • The easiest way to do this is by restarting your computer.

2. Download the "Layouts.xml" file

   • Download the attached "Layouts.xml" file (available at the bottom of this article) to a convenient location on your computer, such as the Downloads folder or Desktop.

3. Navigate to the correct folder

   • Open File Explorer and browse to the following folder:
     C:\Users\Your Username*\Appdata**\Roaming\FOREVER\Artisan 6
     *This is your personal username associated with the computer.
     **"AppData" is a hidden folder, so you may need to enable viewing of hidden items -
     1. Open File Explorer
     2. Click the ‘view’ tab
     3. Check ‘hidden items’ box

4. Copy and Paste the file

   • Copy the Layouts.xml file you downloaded in step 2 and paste it into the folder you navigated to in step 3.

5. Replace the existing file

   • When prompted to replace the existing file, click Yes to confirm.

6. Restart Artisan 6

   • Open your Artisan 6 project. The layout should now be restored to its normal state!
