Take your organization strategy to the next level by using the new and improved Filter options within your Gallery!
Favorites lets you checkmark this option so it only shows the memories you have selected as "favorites". Without this filtering, you can still find your favorites by looking for the white heart in the lower right corner of the thumbnail images.
Sort By lets you choose the order in how your memories show up in the Gallery. You can choose Date Taken (when the memory says it was captured), Upload Date (when you decided to upload or copy it to your Storage), or by the file Name (alpha-numeric).
Media Type is additive, meaning if you select Video and Audio it will show both types of media in your Gallery. When none of the options are selected, it means every media type will show.
Date Taken lets you choose a date range to see your photos that were captured during a specific timeframe. This can be by Month/Year, individual Day, full Year, or an entire Decade!
People lets you choose a currently identified person as a way to sort memories containing that person. If you choose two or more People, it will filter to show memories that both People are in. Please note that there may be more People in the memories shown, but they will at least match to all the People selected.
Tags will show you files that have the selected Tags associated with them. There may be more Tags on the individual files, but everything shown will at least have all the Tags you've selected.
Albums will only show memories contained in all of the selected Albums or Nested Albums. This is great way to see if you have files in multiple Albums for accurate memory-keeping!
Not In Any Album is a quick button to help filter memories that have not yet been organized into an Album.
Not Tagged is a quick button to help filter memories that do not yet have any Tags associated with them. Please note that the People and Tag filters are completely separate. So, a person may be recognized in a memory that does not yet have a Tag.
