Auto Upload in the FOREVER® Mobile App depends on Background App Refresh to upload your photos and videos in the background. For best results, make sure this setting is properly configured.
How to Enable Background App Refresh
On your Apple device:
- Open your iOS Settings
- Tap General
- Select Background App Refresh
- First, make sure Background App Refresh as a whole is turned ON
- Confirm that it is enabled for the FOREVER® app.
- Optionally, set Background App Refresh to Wi-Fi (recommended for performance and data usage).
💡Tip: Disable the Background App Refresh for other, non-critical apps to help prioritize the FOREVER app, improving background syncing.
Important Notes
- iOS learns your habits: Syncing may become more frequent over a few days as iOS recognizes your app usage patterns.
- Do NOT force-close the FOREVER® app (don’t swipe it away from the app switcher), as this stops background uploads entirely.
- Auto Sync uploads in batches: New photos won’t upload immediately after being taken, giving you some time to delete any blurry or unwanted burst images.
