To ensure smooth and successful uploads to FOREVER® Storage from your mobile device, it's important to keep your screen active during the upload process. If your device goes to sleep or the screen turns off, the upload may pause or fail. This is true for both the iOS and Android FOREVER® Mobile App.
For iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad)
To prevent your screen from turning off automatically:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Display & Brightness.
- Select Auto-Lock.
- Choose Never as this will keep your screen on indefinitely, helping to avoid interruptions during uploads.
🔋 Don’t forget to revert this setting afterward to save battery life.
If the Never option isn’t available, your device may be managed by a profile that restricts auto-lock settings. To check:
- Open Settings.
- Tap General.
- Select Profiles & Device Management (or VPN & Device Management on some versions).
- If a profile is listed, it may control the auto-lock behavior.
For Android Devices
To keep your screen awake during uploads:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Display.
- Select Sleep or Screen Timeout.
- Choose Stay Awake if available, otherwise the longest available duration (e.g., 30 minutes), as this keeps your device awake for the duration of the upload.
🔋 Don’t forget to revert this setting afterward to save battery life.
By adjusting these settings, your device will stay active and connected, helping to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted upload experience to your FOREVER account.
