If you are running Artisan® 5 in Basic Mode, you won’t be able to see the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT), and a number of tools and buttons will not be available to you.
We recommend using Advanced mode even if you are a beginner so that you can view the QAT as well as the additional tools and buttons.
To switch between Basic and Advanced mode look for the toggle in the top right corner of the screen where it says "Basic" and switch it to "Advanced."
Once in Advanced mode, you must click on an image or content in order to see the Quick Access Toolbar between the ribbon and the work space.
