Some users may experience difficulty connecting Artisan® or Historian™ to their FOREVER® Account due to recent changes in how Windows interacts with desktop software.
🔹 For Artisan® 6 Users
✅ Update Your Software:
- Close Artisan® 6.
- Visit FOREVER® Downloads to install the latest update.
- To verify you’re running the latest version, click HERE.
NOTE: Updating Artisan® 6 will resolve connectivity issues for all other desktop applications, including Artisan® 4, Artisan® 5, and Historian™.
🔹 For Artisan® 4, Artisan® 5, or Historian™ Users
If you do not have Artisan® 6, follow these steps:

Download the registry fix file:
- Desktop Registry Fix (.reg)
- Desktop Registry Fix (.zip) (if .reg file is blocked)

Install the registry fix:
- Double-click the
.reg
file. - Click "Yes" to authorize the installation.
- Restart your computer.
