Ambassador FAQ: New Client Sign-up Flow Go-Live Date: Monday, July 13
Purpose of the Changes
Q: Why are we making these changes to the sign-up process?
A: We're updating the sign-up flow to give Clients more control over their communication preferences. New opt-in features will allow Clients to choose how they receive emails and provide their phone number, aligning with current best practices and the online experiences they expect. It improves their overall experience while giving Ambassadors better tools to communicate with their Clients.
It’s truly a win-win-win: a win for you, a win for your Clients, and a win for FOREVER.
New Sign-up and communication “Opt-In” Process
Q: What are the exact steps for a new Client who signs up for a FOREVER Account using my Back Office Ambassador share link?
A: We’ve streamlined this process because most Ambassadors primarily use their Back Office share link to bring Clients to FOREVER. Here’s the flow:
- Client receives your Back Office Ambassador share link from you (via email, QR code, etc.).
- Client clicks on the link, creates their FOREVER account, and receives 2 GB of Storage with their Intro Account.
- Once their account is created, Clients can click the FOREVER logo in the upper-left corner of the screen. They’ll be invited to provide their phone number in exchange for a $20 Welcome Coupon. Note: They don't need to complete this step immediately and can do it at any time.
- Client receives their $20 coupon, valid for 60 days.
Q: How is this different from a new Client signing up without a Back Office Ambassador share link?
A: If a potential Client visits FOREVER.com without using your specific Back Office share link, they are not immediately prompted to create an account. In this case, we present the opportunity to opt into marketing emails and provide their phone number so we can nurture the lead. Here’s the typical sign-up flow for these Clients:
- Client visits FOREVER.com.
- Client is invited to opt into marketing emails (and receives the current digitization promotion) and shares their email address.
- Client is then invited to provide their phone number in exchange for the $20 Welcome Coupon and share their phone number.
- Client receives the $20 coupon, valid for 60 days.
- Client is subsequently encouraged to create a FOREVER Account (separate from this flow).
- Client creates an account and receives 2 GB of Storage with their Intro Account.
Q: Is there a place in FOREVER where my Client can manage their opt-in preferences?
A: Yes. Once they create a FOREVER Account, they can navigate to Account Settings → Preferences to manage their email and text communication preferences.
Q: Will the client still need to confirm their email address?
A: Yes. We will still ask the Client to confirm their email for security purposes. However, if they do not confirm their email address, they will still have full access to their FOREVER account and services. Once a Client signs up, we will still send them an email asking them to confirm the address.
Q: Do clients still receive 2 GB of Storage with their Intro Account?
A: Yes. Clients receive 2 GB of Storage when they create an Intro Account. This becomes permanent once they make a FOREVER Storage purchase.
The $20 Welcome Coupon & Referrals
Q: Some of my older Clients don’t have cell phones. Are they eligible for the $20 coupon?
A: The $20 Welcome Coupon is currently offered in exchange for providing a cell phone number.
We made this decision because cell phone numbers allow us to deliver timely transactional updates (such as shipping notifications) and relevant promotional communications that many Clients find valuable. Unfortunately, Clients without a cell phone are not eligible for the $20 coupon at this time.

Q: If a new Client is referred by someone else to FOREVER, signs up for a free Intro Account and makes a purchase, does the referring Client still receive their $20 Referral Coupon?
A: Yes. The $20 referral program for Clients remains unchanged. Clients who invite their friends and family to FOREVER will still receive their $20 Referral Coupon once the person they referred completes their first purchase. Learn more about our referral program here.
Q: What can our Welcome Coupon be used on?
A: The $20 Welcome Coupon can be used on most purchases at FOREVER.com including FOREVER Printed Products, Software, Permanent Storage, Digitization, Facial Recognition, Video Streaming, Genealogy, "FOREVER Digital Art™"-branded Digital Art, and most other products and services. Some exclusions apply.
Phone Numbers & Communication
Q: How will phone numbers be used?
A: Phone numbers will be used responsibly for transactional updates, targeted promotions, and your (Ambassador) direct communications.
Q: Will you sell phone numbers – or other personal information – to third party advertisers?
A: Absolutely not! The privacy of our FOREVER Account Owners is important to us, and we DO NOT rent or sell your information, including phone numbers, to third parties. We take pride in protecting our Clients’ privacy and digital rights.

Q: If a client opts out of transactional texts, will they still receive emails?
A: Yes. They will continue to receive emails as they do today.
Q: How will Ambassadors be notified if a Client opts out?
A: We will remove the phone number from your Client Info report in the Back Office and send you an email notification.
Q: If I use Project Broadcast (or a different service) to text my Clients, how will opt-in/out work?
A: FOREVER’s opt-in/out only applies to our system (CRM and Back Office). Separate services like Project Broadcast manage their own opt-in/out.
Q: What should I tell Clients who are hesitant to share their phone number?
A: Please let them know that our goal is to enhance their overall experience. We send only occasional, highly relevant text messages, and they can opt out at any time by replying STOP or by updating their communication preferences in their account settings.
Existing Clients
Q: What about our existing Clients?
A: Existing Clients will receive an invitation to add their phone number in exchange for a $10 coupon.
Q: What can our $10 coupon be used on?
A: Everything that a $20 Welcome Coupon can be used on.
