Here are the things you’ll need to get the most out of your weekend!
- Software & System Readiness
- Open FOREVER Artisan® 6 at least one week before the event — make sure everything opens smoothly. If it is not, book some time with FOREVER Client Care.
- Check for the latest software update (Help > Check for Updates in Artisan).
- Ensure your Windows operating system is up to date to avoid surprises mid-crop.
- Restart your computer after any updates to ensure smooth performance.
- Digital Content Check
- Open your current project(s) and ensure all content loads properly.
- Pre-download any newly purchased digital art kits from your FOREVER account.
- Install and activate any fonts you plan to use.
- Backup & File Management
- Back up your projects to an external hard drive or flash drive.
- Save or write down the path to your working files folder so you can easily find and access during the crop.
- Consider bringing a second backup device, just in case!

- Laptop + charging cable
- Mouse (you’ll thank yourself later)
- Mousepad for comfort
- Extension cord or power strip
- USB drive or external hard drive
- Project Planning
- Make a list of layouts or photo books you want to work on.
- Gather any journaling notes or photo captions ahead of time.
- Organize your photos into folders by project or event for easier importing.
- Comfort & Essentials
- Bring your glasses or blue-light filter glasses for long screen sessions.
- Don’t forget your favorite snacks, water bottle, and cozy sweater.
- Bring a notebook or planner to jot down ideas and tips from other croppers.

- Print or save any installation keys or content license codes, just in case.
