Wendy, you can do this now. If you have videos interspersed with photos and play a slideshow it automatically plays the video then goes to the next photo.

Jan Spurlin if you rotate it from the 3 dots in the upper right when in the lightbox it does not save another image. You are probably rotating in the edit mode.
