Groups in Address Book

I'm getting a headache working on my Christmas List.  Each name needs a drop down for groups, so you can easily make changes.  Relationships do not stay static, but moving someone from "Networking" to "Friend" or "Not This Year" requires several steps and causes the whole group process to be a hindrance rather than a help!
