Rotate pdfs and photos
PlannedI recently sent in a request to be able to quickly and easily rotate photos and pdfs, hopefully with a left-right rotate button right on the screen, and it was suggested that I put the request on this Feature Request page, so that people can like it if they think it would be helpful.
At the moment, we must go into the information for each photo and rotate them one at a time, but that method is very slow and clunky, and pdfs can’t be rotated at all. My passion is genealogy, and I have chosen Forever specifically to save my huge collection for future generations, so I have hundreds – maybe thousands – of photos and pdfs that are sideways because they were too large to originally be captured right side up. To make Forever useful for saving all things related to genealogy, we’ve got to be able to see things right side up, and that includes pdfs and jpgs.
Would you please "like" my post if you also think this would be helpful for you in Forever, so that it rises to the top of their list?

I would love to be able to bulk rotate photos like we used to. This would save time from opening each photo. I realize that it is much more difficult for .pdf because many times they are multiple pages. Just having the ability to more than one photo from the gallery or album would be a huge time saver.

Yes - please! Thank you, Kathi, for posting this request. I have also found it very slow to rotate even a single photo and also would like to rotate PDF's. Perhaps even only the one-page PDF's could be made to be easily rotated.

Yes please add bulk rotate also

Yes please add this feature. I'm especially interested in single photos and single page .pdf documents.
Thank you,
Greg

And I would like it to not create a new jpg in my account. When I do the rotate, I then see the old one and the new rotated one.

Jan Spurlin if you rotate it from the 3 dots in the upper right when in the lightbox it does not save another image. You are probably rotating in the edit mode.

I have uploaded several documents as a PDF and found it frustrating that they cannot be rotated. I am currently putting newspaper articles and documents in as a JPEG so that I can rotate them. The bulk rotate would be a great "time " value added feature.
Also when you rotate a picture TWICE you have to go back and repeat the steps TWICE rather than just clicking the Rotate RIght(Left) button a 2nd time while you are still on the picture. I am scanning literally thousands of pictures and it would be another "time" value added feature.
