Avatar differences

Is there a reason the avatar has separate operations from when we are on the home screen (hover, then click) vs the gallery page (click, click). If not, I'd love if it could be Click avatar, then click operation in both places. When I'm on the home screen, I often click it instead of just hover and then it takes me to my profile page. Anyone else agree?

  I agree!  I would also love the click click option.  It drives me crazy to always click on the home scrren and have it take me to gallery where I need to click twice.

  I agree having 2 different menus from the upper right corner circle with profile is confusing and also the naming is not the same in both.
