Facial Recognition needs "Refresh" to run again on a Deleted Photo that has been restored OR ...
Would love to have a feature to "refresh" a photo to run Facial Recognition on it
I understand that this is likely a lot harder than a simple little button beside "people" in your lightbox for those who have paid for Facial Recognition
I understand that you lose your Description, Album and Tag Structure when you delete a photo but never thought about "People" with Facial Recognition
- If this feature of refreshing to run Facial Recognition cannot be done - could the "Move to Delete Bin?" pop up add a reminder that "IF you choose to send this to the Delete Bin - you will lose your organization (Description, People, Tags, Albums) IF you choose to restore it within the 60 days"
Back story - While playing around with the Declutter tool I deleted a photo that had been organized and labeled with Facial Recognition - when it was restored it lost all Facial Recognition with the photo - talking with support I was lead to an article about how when you delete a photo and restore it you lose the Albums, Tags and People - you can manually add the "people" to the photo but you will no longer have the Bounding Box around the persons face as you should with Facial Recognition. I am at least glad that I did it with a photo where I had many similar photos but I am now very careful of what is sent to the delete bin

I have figured out that if you crop a photo, it will refresh and recognize the face again. But yes, this is a problem. I know you can add the face manually, but it isn't the same. You could also download an album, delete the photos from the album, then re-upload to get FR to run again. But then you lose the albums/tags. If only we had a way to reprocess without all those steps.
