A6 Project Size - Bring back the Optimization Tool or Similar

We are all concerned with how large our projects are becoming and taking up valuable storage space on our computer.  Recently Tameka posted a tip titled 'Embedded Image & Canvas' that provide insight into why our project folders are becoming so large - because of the imbedded images contained in our projects.  With smartphones taking pictures in large formats, of which Tameka suggested we not change, and I agree this gives us lots of flexibility with our designs, it is necessary after completing the design of a page to go into each photo and 'resize' to something closer to the size of the photo on the page.  This is very time consuming and takes away for the 'craft' of scrapbooking.  My request to the development team is to please bring back the OPTIMIZATION tool or something similar that we can run at the end of a project (or even during would be better) to reduce the size of the embedded images file.
