Reduction feature in Design and Print

Request to have the ability to "reduce" the jpg photo in Design and Print. Example: 12x12 album pages do not fit on the Big Picture Template. They are slightly cut off, causing loss of captions, descriptions, etc that may have been on the album page, but the template is not large enough. Would like a "reduction feature" added in the editing capability.
