multifactor (2 factor) authentication
Everything I have learned points to multi-factor authentication (2-factor) authentication being the best way to keep online accounts secure. The IT team at Forever has confirmed this thought multiple times but Forever does not require or even offer multi-factor authentication. As helpful as it would be, I hesitate to keep sensitive images or documents (such as drivers license, social security cards, etc.) in my Forever account until this is in place.

we have been told it is on the way

Tabitha, I have asked the question in various zoom sessions and heard that answer. From what I understand "on the roadmap" does not mean anytime soon (i.e. not in 2024 and maybe not even in 2025). I'm hoping that by putting the suggestion here, more people might weigh in and the "it's coming" answer could turn into something that happens more quickly than "sometime in the future".

I couldn't agree more. Forever touts being a "secure" place for photos, so 2FA is essential.

Complete agree! With the latest information from Nathan about facial recognition, security is becoming even more important. As stated above, I am extremely careful about loading important documents and won't recommend my clients do it either without 2 factor authentication. It is only a matter of time before there is a security breech here. And that will be devastating for the brand.

Please! We need this really badly. I need to be able to trust that my files are secure, so multi-factor authentication is an absolute must have!
