The FOREVER® TV App is designed to display files directly from your Gallery, Albums, and Tags. You can even watch slideshows of your favorite photos and stream your videos on the big screen!
When you first log in to your FOREVER Account on the TV app, you'll be taken to your Gallery. On the left side of the screen you'll also see Albums, Tags, Favorites, and Settings.
View File Info
To view a file’s info, simply click any file you have preserved in your Gallery, Album, or Tags and select “Options.” Then, click “Show Info.” Any info you have saved via FOREVER for that file will show at the bottom of the screen.
The FOREVER TV App is designed to help you view your favorite files on the big screen. You cannot update file info, upload new files, or organize existing files via your TV. However, you can “favorite” content right away! When you “favorite” a file in FOREVER, it will be tagged as a “Favorite” and immediately show up in your “Favorites” tab on the left of the screen. How cool is that?
The FOREVER TV App is also great to use in conjunction with your mobile app. When you organize via mobile, your curation will immediately update on the TV. We do all the heavy lifting for you!
Start a Slideshow
Viewing a slideshow is easy! To view a slideshow from an album, simply click into that album and select “Start Slideshow.” A slideshow of your album will immediately begin! You can even control the speed of your slideshow (Slow, Medium, or Fast) by exiting your slideshow and clicking on “Settings” on the left of the screen.
You can also start a slideshow from your Gallery by clicking any file, selecting “Options,” and choosing “Start Slideshow.” Your files will cycle through starting from that file.
Watch Videos
To stream your favorite videos, simply click on any video you have preserved in your Gallery, Album, or Tags. If you have a FOREVER Streaming Video Plan or own Permanent Streaming Video, your video will immediately start to play!
