Facebook Connectors Ending

On Wednesday, April 18, 2018, the Artisan® 5 to Facebook connector and the Historian™ 4 to Facebook connector will end.  Don’t worry – the connector between FOREVER® and Facebook will continue to work.  In the meantime, you will still be able to share your photos and project pages with your Facebook friends/groups.  Here are the steps to continue to get your content from Artisan® and Historian™ to Facebook:

To share a page from Artisan® to Facebook via your computer:

1. Create a folder on your computer to temporarily store the Artisan® page.
2. Open the project you want to share a page from in Artisan®.
3. Go to File > Save as > Export current page.
4. Navigate to the folder created in Step 1.
5. Enter a name for the page in the Filename field.
6. Change the file type to “JPG file”.
7. Click “Save”.
8. Review/change your Page save options and click “OK”.
   (“72 DPI” is the best resolution for social media)
9. Log in to your Facebook account.
10. Click on “Photo/Video”.
11. Navigate to the folder you created in Step 1.
12. Choose the page file you want to post.
13. Click “Open”.
14. Add text or other information and click “Post”.

To share multiple pages from Artisan® to Facebook via your computer:

1. Create a folder on your computer to temporarily store the Artisan® page.
2. Open the project you want to share pages from in Artisan®.
3. Go to File > Save as > Export multiple pages.
4. Navigate to the folder created in Step 1 using the “Browse” button.
5. Make sure the “Save as” field is “JPG File."
6. Choose the Page range: All, Current page, or Selected pages.
   If you choose “Selected pages," click on the pages in the pop-up window, click “Add," and then click “OK."
7. Click “Export."
8. Review/change your Page save options and click “OK."
   (“72 DPI” is the best resolution for social media.)
9. Log in to your Facebook account.
10. Click on “Photo/Video."
11. Navigate to the folder you created in Step 1.
12. Choose the page files you want to post.
13. Click “Open."
14. Add text or other information and click “Post."

To export photos from Historian to Facebook via your FOREVER account:

1. Select one or more photos from your Vault in Historian.
2. Right-click to open the short-cut menu and choose “Share > Forever”.
3. Review the Items to send and click “OK” to proceed.
4. Enter your FOREVER account credentials and click “Login”.
5. Upload photos to a FOREVER Album and click “Start Upload”.
6. Open your FOREVER account and go to the Album with your photos.
7. Select the photos you just uploaded and click the “Share” link at the top.
8. Select “Post to Facebook”.

To export photos from Historian to Facebook via your computer:

1. Create a folder on your computer to temporarily store the photos.
2. Select one or more photos in Historian.
3. Right-click to open the short-cut menu and choose “Share > File”.
4. Navigate to the folder created in Step 1 and click “OK”.
5. Go to your Facebook account.
6. Click on Photo/Video Album.
7. Navigate to the File folder created in Step 1.
8. Select the photos and click “Open”
