Q1: What is the My FOREVER Box Center?
A: This is an online area in your FOREVER® account where you can keep track of your FOREVER Box order during the digitization process. Once the digitization is complete, it becomes a private holding area for your memories to live temporarily for 60 days. During this time you can view the memories for free, including watching converted videos even if you don't have an active Video Streaming plan.
Once you've reviewed your memories, you can add them to your permanent Storage, download them to your device to store locally, or do both for extra safekeeping!
Q2: Where can I find the My FOREVER Box Center on my account?
A: Please log in to your FOREVER account, then hover over the person icon in the upper right and from the slide-out menu choose My FOREVER Box Center; once your memories are finished digitizing you should receive an email that has a hyperlink to this area as well. If you have more than one conversion order you can navigate into the different box FDC numbers to see the progress of each!
Q3: How do I move my digitized memories into my Storage?
A: From within the My FOREVER Box Center you can scroll down your box FDC's listing to the My Memories section. Here you can click on the button to "Add To Permanent Storage".
If you don't have enough (or any) Permanent Storage in your account, you will be given the option here to purchase more in 5 GB increments as a single payment – we apologize as no payment plans are available through this area at this time. You can also go to our Preserve & Share page to see other Storage payment options!
Currently, it is an all-or-nothing transfer from the My FOREVER Box Center to your account Storage. If you only want to preserve some memories in your Permanent Storage, you can either move everything over and then delete the unwanted items, or you can follow the steps below to download them to your device and then you can manually upload the select memories you want.
Q4: How do I download my digitized memories from the My FOREVER Box Center?
A: You can download your memories during the temporary holding timeframe. Please note that we do NOT recommend trying to download from the Box Center on a mobile device; a computer will work best for this initial download process.
- Log in to your FOREVER account
- Hover over the person icon in the upper right and go to the My FOREVER Box Center
- Navigate to the FDC number associated with your digitized box
- Scroll down to the section My Memories
- In this area there is the button to "Add To Permanent Storage" (or "View In..." if they're already in your Storage Storage) as well as a button to Download Memories
- By clicking the Download Memories you should receive a pop-up window asking which group(s) of memories you'd like to download - we strongly suggest processing only a couple at a time to ensure a smooth download experience*
- From here, navigate to where your downloads from web browsers typically go and you will then need to unzip the folder

*If you are getting error messages trying to download memories from this area, please first try downloading only one group at a time to see if that helps the process. If you’re still running into issues, next check your internet download speed to make sure it's at least 5 Mbps (you can also try hard wiring into your internet modem if possible for a more direct connection). Q5: What about the Digital Transfers from my order, how can I see or download those?
A: Digital Transfers often require a large amount of storage space, so these files are uploaded directly to your FOREVER Permanent Storage. You can find them in your account Albums under the same FDC number as the digitization box. They act as regular files within your account so you can edit, organize, download, and/or delete as you normally would in your Storage.
Q6: What if I need more time to hold my memories in the My FOREVER Box Center?
A: Please reach out to our Support team if you need a few extra days to be able to purchase Storage or download your memories. We will always try to accommodate the best we can!
Q7: There’s an issue with my digitization order, who should I contact about this?
A: Please send an email to support@forever.com with details including your box FDC number, the item or group(s) affected, and specifics on the issue so we can help resolve it as soon as possible.
Q8: I had my memories digitized a long time ago, can I still get a copy into my Storage or placed on a flash drive?
A: Due to the quantity of memories we digitize each month, we cannot guarantee any order is still in our system after ~180 days. But please reach out to our Support team so we can take a closer look to get confirmation of whether your request is still possible.
