Q: What products offer the updated color palette?
A: The following products in Design & Print offer the updated color palette:
- Blankets
- Coaster Sets
- Magnets
- Notebooks
- Photo Mugs
- Planners
- Puzzles
- Tabletop Panels
- Water Bottles
Q: Why don’t all project types offer the updated color palette?
A: We will be offering the updated color palette in additional products in the future. We started with our most popular gifts!
Q: I am working on a product that offers the updated color palette, but I don’t see the color options in the design I chose. How do I access the new options?
A: Not all designs in each project type will offer the updated color palette. Designs with a lot of detail or those with multiple colors and shades in the background as part of the original design will not offer the option to change the color or pattern of the background.
Q: How can I find the designs that offer the updated color palette?
A: Once you select the project you want to create, click on the arrow next to “Filter By” and look at the options for “Design Color.” Click on the option that is multi-colored to see the designs that will allow you to change the background color or pattern.
In addition, as you are browsing through product pages, you will see the multi-color wheel below all design names that offer the updated color palette. Once you choose a design, you will go to a page that offers different options such as size, orientation, binding, etc. (these options vary depending on your product). On this page, you will see a multi-color wheel as well when the design offers the updated color palette.
Q: How do I change the background for a design that offers the updated color palette?
A: Once you are in the editor (after you choose your options and click the Personalize button), you will see several categories on the right panel. The categories shown depend on the product and design you have selected. To change the background of your project, click on COLORS on the right. A panel will display the color and pattern options, and you can click any color or pattern and immediately see it on your project on the left.
Q: I changed the background of my project, but it has been replaced with something I didn’t select. Why did this happen and how do I return to the background I prefer?
A: If you change the design of your project using the DESIGNS category on the right panel, then the background will default to the new design’s original background.
If the new design offers the updated color palette, simply click COLORS on the right and then re-select the color or pattern you wish to use.
Note: Remember, not all designs offer the updated color palette. If you change the design and do not see COLORS in the list of categories on the right, then you will not be able to change the background of the new design.
Q: Can I customize a color?
A: Not at this time. However, we offer a wide range of colors in various hues.
Q: Can I sample a color from a photo in my project?
A: Not at this time.
Q: Can I zoom in or out on a pattern for my background?
A: Not at this time. The background patterns are scaled according to the size of your product, creating the perfect background texture for each project.
Q: I really like one of the patterns but would prefer it in a different color in the color palette. Can I keep the pattern but change its color using a color in your list?
A: At this time, the patterns are only available as they are shown. But look for new patterns to be added, especially as we change seasons and approach various holidays.
Q: Will there be new colors or patterns offered in the near future?
A: We plan to offer additional patterns as the seasons change and for various holidays as we cycle through each calendar year.
