If your printed product has white borders, the issue likely stems from your design setup in Artisan®. This happens when the background image doesn’t fully extend to the Bleed line in the project template.
Understanding Trim & Bleed Lines
- Trim Line (Inner Dashed Line): The expected cut line during production.
- Bleed Line (Outer Dashed Line): Extending your background to this line ensures no white edges appear if the cut shifts slightly during printing.
How to Avoid White Borders
To prevent this issue, make sure your background extends all the way to the Bleed line, not just the Trim line. You can check your design using the "All View" mode in Artisan®.
How to Access "All View" in Artisan®:
- Click View in the main menu.
- Select All View to preview your project.
This quick check ensures your print is edge-to-edge, avoiding unwanted white borders.
